Dr. Dan Turner brings extensive education and practitioner’s knowledge to DT Chiropractic. He attended both the University of California, Irvine, where he studied neurobiology, and Southern California University of Health Sciences where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009. Dr. Turner is licensed to practice chiropractic in both California (2009) and Georgia (2014).

Dr. Turner specializes in treating sports injuries and personal injuries (resulting from car accidents or other traumas). In addition, he focuses on Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), post-surgical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, sports performance, and family care.

Before founding DT Chiropractic, Dr. Turner served as the head physician for several university athletic departments and sports teams. Between the years of 2009 and 2013, he held various supplementary positions, including head athletic physician at Soka University, team physician to the semi-professional Back Bay Sharks Rugby team, and acted as head physician for the 10th Planet Costa Mesa and Buena Park Competition MMA teams. Additionally, in 2010, Dr. Turner was a physician for the USA Swimming Team. Throughout his vast experience, Dr. Turner has treated athletes’ injuries and trained them to optimize their performance.

In his free time, Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and sons, Sean, Elijah, and Jonah. He has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA since 1995. He loves to travel and explore new places with his family. He is also enjoying getting to know his new home city of Canton, GA, and it’s friendly community.

Dr. Turner served as the head physician for the universities athletic programs. During this time, he treated various injuries from a wide range of sporting activities.
Dr. Turner served as the head team physician for this semi-professional rugby team. During this time, Dr. Turner treated a variety of on and off the field injuries, keeping the team in top physical shape.
Dr. Turner treated numerous injuries, keeping the competition team in optimum condition. Dr. Turner is also a national champion in jiu-jitsu and enjoys training with his patients.
